England were gifted, some would say, a rather easy World Cup group (G) in the Russia 2018 World Cup.Current odds have us at 6/4 to win the group. That sounds about right to me, as Belgium are a worthy adversary, undefeated in qualifying. Panama and Tunisia though are of course not on our level. We do typically make hard work of things though so who knows what weird and wacky results the group will bring us!
Of the course qualifying groups, the shortest priced favourites are France in Group C at 1-3 (to top Denmark, Peru and Australia in their group), and Brazil also at 1-3 (to win a group featuring Switzerland, Serbia and Costa Rica). Many of the other 2018 World Cup markets aren’t all that fleshed out yet, but I’ll be sure to return to them over the coming weeks and months!.
